An extra 1580 workers will be able to come to New Zealand to take up jobs in the dairy industry, meat processing, and forestry, a move welcomed by Federated Farmers and the meat processing industry. The Government is making exceptions to immigration rules to allow people into the country to help fill skill gaps in the primary sector.
